On April, 17, Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation was signed between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences(Hamm, Germany).
On behalf of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute the document was signed by pro-rector for International Relations, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Serhiy Sydorenko, on behalf of Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences it was signed by its president Klaus Tzepenfeld.
Before signing, representatives of both universities discussed the directions of cooperation and its mechanisms, including the possibility of submitting a joint grant application for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The vice-president of research and exchange of Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences Diter Brunyok, professor of this university Zoya Runovska, Director of the Institute for Energy Saving and Energy Management of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Serhiy Denysyuk, the deputy head of department of the international cooperation Ksenia Yudkova and others took part in discussion.
The document states that both universities intend to exchange students, exchange staff, organize joint research, conduct counseling to support mutual development, develop joint educational programs, etc. The final choice of measures to be implemented and their specificities will be specified in the relevant agreements.
