A regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took place on April 8, 2019.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector Michael Zgurovsky congratulated the jubilee - the head of the Department of System Programming and Specialized Computer Systems, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.P. Tarasenko.
After that, the rector presented the certificates of Professor to Professor of the Department of Industrial Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechnics O.Yu. Galkin and Professor of the Department of Electromechanical Equipment of Energy Consuming Industries of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management S.V. Zaichenko and Professor of the Department of Electronic Devices and Equipment of the Faculty of Electronics I.V. Melnyk.
Firstly, the analysis of financial and economic activities at the university for 2018 and the approval of the budget for 2019 was heard. The head of DEF L.G. Subbotina was reporting. Lyudmyla Hryhorivna named the programs under which Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was financed in 2018, presented the results of the budget for 2018 and the results of research funding.
The dynamics of changes in official salaries for 10 years was also provided, the structure of utility costs and energy saving measures, the actual implementation of the plan of current and capital repairs and the structure of expenditures of the campus were presented. After that, Lyudmyla Hryhorivna presented the integrated budget of the university for 2019, in particular the structure of general fund expenditures, the structure of general fund formation and the structure of use of special fund.
Next, the issue of approving the structure of the Institute of Aerospace Technology (IAT) was considered. The first vice-rector Y.I.Yakymenko was reporting. Yuri Ivanovich informed about the main directions of the institute activities: educational and scientific-innovative, as well as the functions and tasks of IAT.
Finally, competitive issues and current cases were considered: creation of a training laboratory of general physics and a training laboratory of computer technologies in the IPT, as well as information from the organizing committee for the election of the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. In particular, it was determined that all departments of the university at their conferences nominated a single candidate - Michael Zakharovich Zgurovsky.
