The School of Young Scientist-2018 “Steps to Achieve Success in Research and Innovation” was held on May, 16-18, on the basis of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The Council of Young Scientists of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Institute of Publishing and Printing with the support of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine have organized it.
Participants were congratulated by the Vice-rector on scientific work, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine M.Yu. Ilchenko, Vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical work prof. P.O.Kyrychok and academic secretary of the university, dean of the Faculty of Sociology and Law A.A.Melnychenko. On the first day of the school, more than 30 young scientists from different institutions of higher education and scientific institutions of Ukraine took part in it. The moderator was the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, associate professor of the Department of Theoretical Electrical Engineering O.O. Biletskyi.
The main goal of the event was the discussion on improving the quality of scientific research, the exchange of experience in postgraduate education, advice for young scientists how to successfully go the way to the defense of the thesis.
Summing up the work of the School of the Young Scientist, Vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical work prof. P.O.Kyrychok thanked the organizers, participants and speakers for productive work and emphasized the necessity of holding this annualy with the invitation of the maximum number of participants from other institutions of higher education and institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
