April, 17 the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute started the work of the XII International Scientific and Technical Conference “Telecommunications Problems” and the X International Scientific and Technical Conference of Students and Postgraduates “Prospects for the Development of Information and Telecommunication Technologies and Systems” dedicated to the Day of Science and the World Telecommunication Day.
Congratulations to the conference participants were addressed by the scientific director of the Institute of Telecommunication Systems, Vice-rector for the scientific work of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Myhailo Ilchenko and head of the Center for Theoretical and Legal Issues of the Research Institute of Informatics and Law of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Olexandr Baranov,.
On the first day two plenary sessions were held in which 10 reports were heard. In particular, O. V. Palagin, V. O. Romanov, I. B. Galelyuk, A. V. Voronenko, V. M. Grusha, A. V. Koviryovo, G. V. Antonov, V. M. Lavrentyev, Yu. O. Braiko, R.G. Imamutdinova (V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics) presented the report “Intelligent" sensor networks: from idea to market”; M. Yu. Ilchenko, M. M. Kaidenko, S. O. Kravchuk (Institute of Telecommunication Systems of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) delivered a report “Structural and functional principles of construction of a control and communication system for on-board and ground equipment of a telecommunication network on the basis of airplane platforms”; A.V. Moshynska, L.O.Urivsky (Institute of Telecommunication Systems of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) – “Decomposition of the processes of transition from the scenario to the strategy of information transfer in the multiservice system”; V.M. Dzhulay – “The newest technologies of communication on the basis of SDR complexes”, etc.
The following conferences will work in the following sections: 1. “Reliable communication of information in telecommunication systems”; 2. “Cable and fiber optic systems and technologies”; 3. “Technologies of transport telecommunication systems and network technologies”; 4. “Wireless Telecommunication Systems and Technologies, 5G Systems”; 5. “Information Technologies in Telecommunications”; 6. “Sensor networks and applied aspects of telecommunication technologies application”; 7. “Hardware-software tools and telecommunication devices”; 8. “Technical creativity of radio designers of Ukraine”.
A conference on “Modern information and telecommunication trends” will take place within the framework of conferences. An exhibition “Technical creativity of radio designers of Ukraine” is also organized.
The work of the conferences will last until April 20, 2018.
