In the course of discussion of the main cooperation lines, Oleg Vysotskyi spoke about the most urgent needs of national MIC that cannot be satisfied without cooperation between practitioners and scientists of various branches. Among the most important needs are those connected with compliance of national military equipment with NATO standards. So, in order to receive new products certificates it is not only enough to have high performance characteristics – all characteristics have to be approved by standardized research techniques carried out in special laboratories and equipment. Besides, Ukrainian enterprises might create a part of expensive components for foreign made special-purpose machinery independently.
However, a complete compatibility with basic ones has to be provided and make it meet standards requirements. There is a need for designing the whole range of new national military-purpose products starting from personal defense equipment to control system etc. Thus, production workers rely greatly in this issue on potential of university scientists.
In the end, dean of Faculty of Physical Engineering of the university, Petro Loboda, director of Mechanical and Engineering Institute of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute, Mykola Bobyr and representatives of other academic subdivisions of the university spoke about some best practices and opportunities for solving problems raised by new partners in the course of discussion.
