Famous Japanese violinist Daichi Nakamura gave a performance for polytechnics that was hold in Big Chemical Room on 22th September. The event took place with the assistance of Ukrainian-Japanese center and personally former head of diplomatic mission of Japan in Ukraine (2008-2011), Tadashi Izava.
The artist skillfully played pieces of music by composers of the last years and present time. "Caprice No 17 та 24" by Niccolo Paganini had a special response from students.
Daichi Nakamura started playing the violin at the age of three. Aged 8 he took part in musical concerts all over Japan and took first places. Now he is a student of Vienna University of music and performance art. The violinist is the laureate of 5th International competition of young musicians n.a. P. Tchaikovsky (5th award); 8th International competition n.a. Khachaturian (3d award); International competition n.a. N. Semenova (1st award). He performed together with Philharmonic orchestra of Sophia city, St. Petersburg symphonic orchestra and some other well-known orchestra of Europe and Japan.
Young musician took a great interest in history of Kyiv polytechnics. He was pleased to give a performance in a room that has relation to numerous events and outstanding personalities. Pro-rector of NTUU "KPI", Petro Kyrychok expressed gratitude to the musician for the nice meeting and wished further progress. Daichi Nakamura performed also in the Embassy office for representatives of diplomatic corps.
