On March 19, in IEE was carried out monitoring of the project CENEAST "Reforming programs in the field of urban development on the Eastern neighbourhood" under the TEMPUS programme.
The aim of the project is to update the curriculum of bachelors, specialists and masters and PhD programs new modules (areas) with the organization energetically and ecologically sustainable, affordable and healthy environment and development in the UNIVERSITIES of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine with the aim of improving the quality of education and its conformity with the needs of the labour market; the transfer of the Bologna educational experience to universities shanowski partnership; development of a virtual network of inter-University educational system in the framework of cooperation between universities of the EU countries and shanowski partnership in education and research; training of staff of universities and at least 240 students.
The composition of the monitoring mission included representatives of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine: the Manager in monitoring projects Elena Ariel and Manager of analytical work Zhanna Talanova. On the monitor was attended by representatives of foreign and Ukrainian universities-participants of the consortium of domestic companies, students and teachers of IEE NTUU "KPI".
Presentations were made by the participants of the consortium: Arturas, Kaklauskas is the representative of the project coordinator – Vilnius technical University. Gediminas (Lithuania), Angela Pyatov, project coordinator CENEAST from Ukraine, Vladimir Prokopenko, a responsible person of NTUU "KPI", Irina Voronkova and Natalia Samoilenko, representatives of party of the consortium – NTU "KHPI", Oleg Levchenko, the head. DEP. labour protection, industrial and civil safety of IEE NTUU "KPI". Positive evaluation of the project results was expressed by the representatives of employers: Elena Minchuk from the Association of energy engineers of Ukraine and Oleg Razumovsky – managing partner of LLC "Engineering logic". The discussion was also attended by Deputy Director of IEE Alexander Danilin and Anatoly Gan, head of the international office of IEE Oleg Kotsar, coordinator for international work IEE Julia Chernetsky, associate professors Vladimir Nahodou, Basil Kalnik, Vitaly Pobigaylo, masters and postgraduate students IEE Valeria Procko, Vitaly Oprisko, Dmitry Ivanko, Vitaly Kalnik.
The monitoring mission also spoke with students of IEE NTUU "KPI", brought to the project. Students spoke about their vision of the directions of modernization of the national system of education and expressed their opinions about ways to improve the efficiency of implementation of the developed modules in the University.
In the final resolution of the representatives of the National Erasmus+ office praised the achievements of project teams in the development and implementation of training modules. Noted that in General the activities are carried out under the plan; created training modules and plans for implementation in their learning process. However, comments were made on insufficient promotion and informing stakeholders about the results of the project CENEAST and other projects of the TEMPUS programme as a whole.
Monitoring the Commission expressed the hope that the project results will be implemented in NTUU "KPI" and common in other universities of Ukraine.
