January 20, a training gathering of reservists university staff dedicated to mobilization was held at the Center of Culture and Arts NTUU "KPI".
The need for such a meeting in Ukraine caused by the announcement of the fourth wave of mobilization and entry into force of the Law of Ukraine from 15.01.2015 № 113-VIII "partial mobilization", which is approved by a decree of the President of Ukraine. Another mobilization will take place in three stages during the 210 days from the date of entry into force of the Decree, that is, from 20 January.
Head of the military mobilization department Vitaly Pajun and Chief of Staff of the Civil Defense University Yuri Nesterenko told the participants of the gathering about the normative-legal acts regulating the mobilization - the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service", the Law of Ukraine "On mobilization preparation and mobilization" and others. In addition, they informed the participants about the stages of the fourth wave of mobilization, the number of people need to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their category, right, as well as the organization of work at the university since liable for military service (which is male staff under the age of 60 years).
Vitaly Pajunen said that in Solomenskiy district of the capital, on whose territory the university is located, a work has already begun on preparing for the next call. Therefore, the lists of employees who work in the NTTU "KPI" and are subject to the legal acts regulating the issues of mobilization, are compiled. The notification of employees of the University will be held from 20 to 29 January. Their lists will be sent to units.
Actually, the measures of warning the reservists are carried out these days all over the country, both for businesses and organizations, as well as the home addresses. In the next ten days medical commissions will be held and it will be decided on an appeal, or a delay of anyone who has received a summons.
Head of the military mobilization department also paid attention to the responsibility of citizens for failure to mobilize, set up by the appropriate legislation standards. This, above all, Articles 210 - 216 of the Code of Administrative Offences and Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In addition, there have been clarified as to who, in accordance with Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On mobilization preparation and mobilization" is not subject to appeal to mobilize.
