On November 5-7, 2014 at the National Aerospace Educational Center of Youth named after O. M. Makarov (boarding house "Lisovyi", Dnipropetrovsk region) the IX Scientific reading "Dniprovska Orbita" took place. Organized by the State Space Agency of Ukraine, State Enterprise M.K.Yangel State Design Bureau "Pivdenne", Museum of Cosmonautics S.P. Korolyova of Zhytomyr Regional Council, Dnipropetrovsk National University Oles Gonchar. 58 applications from many cities of Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, as well as from other countries - Kazakhstan (Astana) and Russia (Maikop) were applied for participation.
The first day included the official opening, plenary meeting and 4 presentations where the General Director of NAECUY V. V. Khytornyy welcomed the participants and the guests. The next day, November 6, meetings on 6 research areas were held: the History of aviation and space-rocket engineering, Aerospace education of young people, the Environment science and space, Space and philosophy, Institutional, Humanitarian and Ethical aspects of Space exploration. All together more than 40 papers were heard, 75 members and guests took part in the discussion, including representatives from NTUU "KPI": the candidate of Engineering Science, assistant professor of Theoretical Mechanics V. M. Fedorov, who is also the head of the Kyiv branch of NAECUY named after O. M. Makarov, and head of the Laboratory of Technical Aesthetics and Design of SLF Yu.Hrytsenko. At the round table, dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of General Aviation an Missile Engineer, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences V. M. Chelomey, the Head of History Department of KPI State Polytechnic Museum V.V.Tatarchuk made a presentation and also presented the book on the History of our University to the NAECUY Library. There took place the presentation of the book "Experimental Processing of Control Units and Aircraft Systems," a copy of which was handed to the library of KPI.
The best reports were recommended for publication in professional scientific journals. Organizers invited everyone to participate in these anniversary readings that will approximately take place in September, 2015.
