In December 2013 at the Faculty of Aircraft and Space Systems group of Chinese experts from Beijing University of Space Stations and Chinese Academy of starting system were passing off probation, which was organized with the Chinese side Beijing International Education Corporation.
Training program was based on a series of lectures on contemporary issues of aerodynamics, hypersonic technology, thermodynamics and heat conduction of aircraft, kinematic heating of the surface during its flow, heat exchange and reducing heat loads on the aircraft structure, that our university has offered to Chinese experts. Lectures were given by leading scholars and professors of aviation and space systems, and Physical Engineering Faculty and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechniques.
Understanding the history and achievements of the University, the Faculty of Aircraft and Space Systems , and other departments whose activities are related to the space industry were added to extensive training program. A big interest of visitors was caused by visiting State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU "KPI" and its aviation department, the exhibition of development in the Science Park.
During the visit in Ukraine, Chinese experts visited and got acquainted with the works of the Paton Electric Welding Institute of NAS of Ukraine, traveled to Dnepropetrovsk, where in The National Aerospace Educational Center of Ukrainian Youth acquainted with samples created in Ukraine space techniques. Experts DP of design office «Pivdenne» spoke to the audience with a presentation of its company and answered numerous questions.
At the end of probation Chinese experts were met with acting rector of NTUU "KPI" academician Y.Yakymenko, who gave students the certificates of internship at our university and Christmas presents.
Members of the Chinese delegation were grateful to NTUU "KPI" for lectures and said that they knew about the high level of training in our university and our achievements also from their workers - graduates of the Faculty of aviation and space systems.
