On the 3rd of June, 2014 at the Hall of Academic Council of NTUU "KPI" XIII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Problems of Modern Electric Engineering – 2014" and I International Scientific and Technical Conference "Smart Energy and Energetic Systems" started their work.
The conference was attended by representatives of Ukraine, Russia, Belgium, Holland, the UK, Japan, USA, France, Andorra, Poland, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Moldova. 150 reports from 120 participants were presented.
Organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Electrodynamics of NAS of Ukraine, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute", National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", National University "Lviv Polytechnic", Scientific Council on the scientific basis of electricity, Section "Ukraine" of International Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management and NGO "Pani Nauka".
The conference started with a plenary session, which was opened by the first pro-rector of NTUU "KPI", NAS academician Yuri Yakimenko and chairman of the program committee, NAS academician Boris Stogniy. Next, participants will work in the following sections: Section 1 - "Theoretical Electrical Engineering", Section 2 - "Electric Power, Systems and Management" section 3.1 - "Conversion Equipment", section 3.2 - "Electrical Machines and Electric Drive" and Section 3.3 - "Electrotechnology".
The conference will last until June, 6.
