One of the most popular sports team competition has always been a relay. This is a holiday of health care ,a great amount of fun and positive with no losers. The most important thing is - team spirit. Today, this type is included in program of a competitions with many kinds of sports, including the Olympics.
In 2013 16th of April, on the football field of sports complex NTU "KPI" within the university sports and athletics meeting Athletics Relay of 5 x 200 m occurred. It was attended by representatives of 18 departments - 3 boys and 2 girls. Each member of the team overcame one circle of stadium. After an hour of competition winners were determined. The first place was won by the team of Institute of Special Communication and Information Protection with the time of 3.01,0. Second place - Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information with the time of 3.03,0. Third place was shared between Intercollegiate Faculty of Medical Engineering and the Faculty of Management and Marketing with the time of 3.09,0.
This year's race was remembered for its brightness and superb mood of participants. The rain with puddles that preceded the spring heat did not even prevent them. Relay was very spectacular, as the level of physical fitness of students was about the same. Regardless of the conquered places all participants were satisfied. Nevertheless, really, the main thing is not to win but to take part. And more important is improvement of health, mind and body, teamwork, moral enjoyment of excitement of competition, the support of friends and a desire to show off.
