Within the festival of science in 2013, 16th-19th of April, XI International Scientific Conference "Modern Problems of scientific power providing." occurred at TEF Its members were congratulated by deputy of pro-rector for Research Candidate of science O.V.Koval, who marked the relevance of the subject of the conference and stressed the importance of preparation of young highly skilled engineering and scientific personnel for power.
The plenary presentations were made by: the Head of NPP depatment and ITF prof. Ye.M.Pysmennyy ("Works laboratories of thermal studies department NPP and ITF in convective heat transfer"), director of the Institute of Industrial Ecology Academy of Sciences of Ukraine the candidate of science O.I.Syhal ("Ways of updating of the communal energy of Ukraine"), person working for doctor's degree of ATEP I.M.Holinko ("Synthesis of optimal control systems to minimize the control action»).
A total number of 330 conference papers were presented. The work was conducted in eight sections: "Nuclear energy", "heat exchange and hydrodynamics in heat transfer devices and power plants", "Modern technologies in thermal energy", "Problems of Theoretical and industrial heat", "Automation of heat power processes," "Geometric modeling and problems of visualization "," Software of information systems and network systems "," Modeling and analysis of heat power ».
The conference was attended by representatives of the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University, Odessa National Polytechnic University, National Aerospace University named after M.E.Zhukovsky "KAI", Cherkasy State Technological University, National University of Water Management and Natural Resources (Rivne), Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Renewable Energy National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, National University of Food Technologies. Kiev Polytechnic was represented not only by senior students of TEF, but also students of the first course (Ya.Plyusnyn, gr. TV 21; A.Yudyna, gr. TM-21) and second course (O.Karplyuk, O.Bodnya, gr. TV-11; V.Dudnyk oz. TM-12).
