On the XII Students tournament of physicists which was held from the 8th of November to 13th of November in V. N. Karazin Kharkov National University, the team of National technical university of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" "Newton's Guests" (five students of the NTUU "KPI" Institute of Physics and Technology and one student of the Oles Honchar Dnepropetrovsk National University) won the diploma of the third degree.
Moreover, members of the team "Newton's Guests" also brought home from Kharkov two diplomas of the third degree in the individual competition. They were received by Pavlo Radchuk (IPT NTUU “KPI”) and Artur Bulakayev (O. Honchar DNU).
The team of the NTUU "KPI" participates in tournament almost since its beginning, but earlier it had always won places in the middle of the fixture list. The result, achieved by the team this year, is the best as far. However, considering sincere admiration of "Newton's Guests" physics and the fact that for the majority of members of the team it was debut on STP, it is possible to hope that next year they will be able to improve it.
