The event that was expected by local photographers, travelers and other interested took place in KPI 24 October. Alleys around the first building was blocked with ropes with attached photos. Yes, it is - "Drying" (the fourth in KPI) - an open-air exhibition that brings together amateurs and professionals, beginners and experienced artists. A sky that day was really opened - then started rain and perhaps could scare our students?
The main idea of the action was that any participant could hang their works on the ropes attaching them with help of usual pin. It was allowed to take any photo that you liked. Yoy can sign your photo or write coordinates or write unusual message to the future owner. There were presented several thousands of works, authors – are mostly students of KPI, although there were guests from other universities.
The initiator of th exhibition was Student Council of the University.
"Drying" – action of photo sharing, invented and firstly realized in St. Petersburg in 2010. Since it has become increasingly popular. It is believed that "drying" has already passed more than 100 cities in Ukraine and in the world and brought together about 45,000 participants. So Polytechnic are ahead as lways.
