On November 23, 2012 the delegation of General Administration of Press and Publications of China headed by its Director Mr. Liu Binjie visited NTUU “KPI”. The delegation was accompanied by First Deputy of State Committee for Information Policies, Television and Radio Mr. A.Murakhovsky.
Vice-rector S. Sydorenko greeted the guests, thanked Mr. Binjie for attention to KPI as well as Mr. A. Murakhovsky for organization of this meeting. S.Sydorenko told about history and perspectives of Ukraine-Chinese relations. He noted thatraining of Chinese specialists is the most important component of this cooperation. Today 40 Chinese citizens study at NTUU “KPI” and the university wish is to increase their quantity. KPI cooperates with 18 Chinese universities. The distance educational course “Golden Gates to Ukraine” has been created for Chinese citizens and the university is ready to promote this product in China.
ncreasing of cooperation with educational, scientific and innovation spheres of China is important task for NTUU “KPI”. Measures of such cooperation are outlined in the “Program of 4 Principals” the main of which are the following: create supporting center of Science park Kyivska Polytechnika”, create joint with NTUU “KPI” educational and scientific centers in the structure of Chinese universities, create recruiting centers for enrolling Chinese citizens for study at NTUU “KPI”, strengthen academic mobility and contacts in the human dimension, open Confucius Institute or Confucius Institute class.
Mr. Liu Binjie thanked NTUU “KPI” for its contribution in development of Ukraine-Chinese relations. He told that Chinese party would support the development of cooperation in publishing sphere, would help in financial and specialists’ assistance. He also told that the Chinese Government is able to support creation of Confucius Institute . It is necessary to prepare appropriate plans for this. The Chinese part supports increasing students quantity in publishing sphere and printing industry. China needs specialists in this sphere. It makes sense to think over this cooperation and to spread this information in China.
Mr. Liu Binjie proposed to start this cooperation with well known universities of China by creation of joint educational structures in the sphere of publishing.
