♻️ PolyFuel, a project developed at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, took first place among 11 teams participating in the GreenChem Accelerator 2026. The project is a modular automated technology that converts mixed plastic waste into components for aviation and automotive gasoline, produces technical carbon, and can generate additional electricity.
Today, a memorial plaque honoring Danylo Shliakhov, a graduate of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and a servicemember of the 18th Sloviansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, was unveiled in Building No. 19 of the university.

The laboratory was established jointly with the recruitment agency NDA Recruitment and opened at the Faculty of Radio Engineering to give students the opportunity to work with modern equipment, test their ideas in practice, conduct research, and develop and test technical solutions in radio systems, electronics, and other technology fields.
