Laboratory Cybermetrics Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) published elderly ranking Webometrics.
National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" again became a leader among Ukrainian universities. Second with 295 thou Ukrainian universities according to the rating Webometrics is the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Webometrics ranking of world's universities (Webometrics Ranking of World Universities) - one of the most prestigious ratings in the international educational environment. The research results are published twice a year, according to data collected in July and February of this year, and cover more than twenty thousand universities worldwide.
Rating assessment focused on academic university presence on the Internet, exposure level university publications in international scientific progress popularity of web-resources of the university, Internet users trust them. In the July rankings Laboratory Cybermetrics amended the calculation of significantly increasing the impact of university publications, which are in the 10% most cited in their respective fields of science, according Scimago (based on Scopus).
