The research team Cybernetics Lab, which makes the rating, publishes it twice a year. The rating results are determined on the basis of indicators that show the scope and authority of the submission of universities in scientific and educational space, citation indexes scientific papers, the quality of the scientific and methodological materials, the popularity of all the components of university activity in the Internet space. The laboratory Cybernetics Lab analyzes Internet activity about 22 thousand universities in the world. In this year's rankings there are presented 297 Ukrainian universities. NTUU "KPI" entered the top three Ukrainian universities.
