Today, higher education institutions of Ukraine train specialists with the involvement of the research work in the framework of the curricula of the various areas. Many graduate students choose the career of scientists, embody scientific achievements in life. Thanks to their work Ukrainian science has significant achievements, and Ukrainian scientists receive the results of fundamental and applied research of world  level. A support of scientific ideas, the motivation of young scientists is carried out on the state level. For the best scientific work, as well as a series of papers on a single topic, for the discovery and invention  individual authors or groups of authors are awarded prizes and grants. In the competition for the award researchers, doctoral students, graduate students, engineers and technical staff of institutions, organizations, universities III-IV accreditation levels subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine may be involved. Prize of the President of Ukraine for young scientists of the NAS of Ukraine, founded in 2000, appointed to support the most talented young people, which carries out long-term research in the natural, technical, humanities and social sciences.

Thus, among the nominees of the President of Ukraine for young scientists this year there are young scientists  of Publishing and Printing  Institute of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute", active members of the scientific sphere, Candidates of Technical Sciences, senior lecturers: Yaroslav Zorenko , Anton Neskhozievsky and Vasil Skiba.

Important decision to take the path of scientific work was not useless. Within the walls of IPP NTUU "KPI" first students from one of the best groups of the Department of Technology of printing production, and then graduates in the specialty 05.05.01 "Machines and printing production processes", then the candidates of technical sciences under the guidance of Dr.Sci.Tech, Professor Petro I Kyrychko and  Dr.Sci.Tech Professor Elena Mikhailovna Velichko implemented their scientific achievements. The three years of their PhD dissertations were extremely productive. Their scientific work was highly appreciated and brought a lot of results in the printing industry. In addition, it should be noted their scientific and educational activities, persistent participation in the preparation of bachelors, masters of publishing and printing business. They did not stop and continued to further study and explore the phenomenon and to reveal their mechanisms. It was therefore logical preparation of solid scientific work "Scientific basis for a stable reproduction of text and illustrative information by modern printing means" which according to the results of secret ballot  at Academic Council NTUU"KPI" was nominated for the award President of Ukraine for young scientists in 2013 year.

On the basis of the submission of the Committee of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology according the results of the secret ballot by the Presidential Decree "On awarding annual prizes of the President of Ukraine for young scientists in 2013", published December 5, 2013 in the newspaper "Governmental Courier", our young scientists Ya.V.Zorenko, A.V.Neskhozievsky, V.M.Skiba were awarded for work "Scientific basis for a stable reproduction of text and illustrative information modern printing means."

Technological processes of the printing industry is extremely diverse, complex, stochastic. It is very difficult to keep stable set of parameters that affect the reproduction of text and illustrative information. Establishment of the laws of interference parameters in the "original-print" and modeling stages of reproduction, studies of the effect of the printing and the printing process and the establishment of the influence of parameters on the quality parameters of the print, to stabilize the process of reproduction of text and illustrative information - is extremely important science mission, and our young scientists worked hard on it. The research work Ya.V.Zorenko, A.V.Neskhozievsky, V.M.Skiba comprehensively and thoroughly solves the problem of ensuring the stability of technological parameters, which increases performance and durability of the process elements kontaktuvalnih pairs printed contact.

Young scientists have developed technology to ensure operational capability of printing equipment based on the control system to stabilize the process of reproduction of the information by modern printing facilities.

They developed and implemented:

  • processing instructions to control the properties of the reproduction in the printing industry;
  • process instructions  of the operation of monometallic printed forms;
  • систему контролю роботи поліграфічного обладнання;
  • control system of printing equipment;
  • specialized software to improve the efficiency of production processes;
  • instructions for finishing and hardening treatment and recovery of parts of printing equipment.

Work stands out by its comprehensive approach to solving important problems of stabilization and normalization of technologically qualitative products due to stabilization of process parameters and to reduce the impact of negative risk factors.

This work caused a very broad resonance among the scientific and the public printing community. The work was highly praised by  professors, doctors and candidates of sciences, in particular Professor (National University of Food Technologies) O.M.Gavva, Ph.D., Professor (Director of the Parliamentary publishing Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine) Yu.S.Ganzhurov, Ph.D. (regional representative of Heidelberg in Ukraine) A.L.Boychuk, Ph.D., Associate Professor (LLC MacHOUSE) O.Yu.Baydak, doctor of sciences, Senior Scientist (Institute of Materials Science. Frantsevich NAS) Yu.M.Podrezov,  Ph.D., Professor (Ukrainian Academy of printing) S.F.Gavenko. A lot of positive feedback from the leaders of the printing industry - directors of publishing houses, advertising agencies, publishing houses, in particular N.A.Turbanova, (publishing "Tomiris") V.E.Brilitsky (LLC "Verekon" ), I.V.Agarkov (PE "RA" Da Vinci "), O.K.Susol (publishing  of NPU named after M.P. Dragomanov) and others were received. According to the results of the authors have published 46 papers, including one monograph "Reproducing of tone gradient by means of reproduction", 18 scientific articles in professional domestic and foreign publications, have received 3 patents of Ukraine.Their scientific work is a remarkable achievement of the printing industry. Outstanding research results of our young scientists are contributed to the further development of technical sciences, a positive impact on social progress and maintain the high prestige of Ukrainian science in the world. Important is the fact that the results have been implemented in production, and the economic effect of the introduction  is about  209 thousand of UAH.

Congratulations to young scientists IPP NTUU "KPI" with the rank of the winner of the Prize of the President of Ukraine for young scientists! Wish to Yaroslav Zorenko, Anton Neskhozievsky, Vasil Skiba constantly evolve, improve their academic level and never rest on the laurels.
