Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has further strengthened its international standing. In the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, which assess universities' contributions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the university advanced to the 801–1000 band among the world's leading higher education institutions.

This marks significant progress in the global ranking, which this year evaluated 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories. In 2025, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was ranked in the 1001–1500 band, while in 2024 it was placed in the 1501+ band.

🏆 Among Ukrainian higher education institutions, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute shared third place with six other universities.

The university achieved its strongest results in the following Sustainable Development Goals:

📌 Responsible Consumption and Production, Life Below Water, and Life on Land — 301–400 band
📌 Zero Hunger, Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions — 401–600 band

✅ Overall, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute improved its performance across the majority of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, reaffirming its position as a university that successfully combines excellence in education and research with a strong commitment to social responsibility.
