Olga Mykolaivna Markina has been already working at the Department of Analytical and Environmental devices and systems for ten years. Last year she won the competition "young teacher-researcher 2015". She is the pupil of the Kiev Polytechnic. In 2006 she graduated from IMD in specialty "Precision Mechanics" and received a master's degree. In 2007-2010 she was a postgraduate of "KPI". O. M. got the desire for science from her parents: Mariya Mykolaivna and Mykola Arkadiyovych. On their advice, she chose the best technical university of Ukraine - Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where she met wise teachers and mentors. The young researcher thanks professors V.P.Maslovu and V.A.Poryevu for her professional formation. Today Olga Markina is engaged in priority areas of research: target receiving of new materials, their connection and processing; technology acquisition, welding, joining and treating of structural, functional and composite materials.
In December 2015 Olga defended her thesis, which dealt with television measurement system for determination of the geometric dimensions of topological elements. The results of the work have been used and implemented to improve the technology of television measurement system for the manufacture of precision optical components, developed in SRC "Carat", research and production complex "Photoprylad."
Scientific achievements of O.M.Markina are used at the Institute of Physical Chemistry n. a. L. V. Pysarzhevsky of NAS of Ukraine to monitor the transparency of the adhesive joints of optical components; they proved important in other academic institutions of NAS of Ukraine - Institute of Semiconductor Physics n. a. V. E. Lashkarov, Institute of Physical Chemistry n. a. L. V Pysarzhevsky, Institute of Scintillation Materials, SE "Ukrmetrteststandart" in many industrial technologies, such as control of defects and internal stress in molecular and heterostructured scintillation materials. She has 10 patents of Ukraine, dozens of articles in professional foreign and domestic media. O.M.Markina teaches discipline "Theory of automatic control", "Designing of instruments", she is responsible for practice for students. O. M. associates her future with native Polytechnic. Let us wish the young researcher further success.
