The Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry (KZNH) is one of the oldest departments of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", which was created together with the foundation of the university in 1898.
In 2019, four science clubs were established at the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry (ЗНХ) of the Faculty of Chemical Technology: “Chemistry in Action”, “Chemistry - the way to the future”, “Chemistry from theory to practice”, “Kupfernickel”.
On March 14, 2018, the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline “Chemistry” was held among the students of the Igor Sikorsky KPI. The Olympiad was attended by 63 students who represented FCT, FCI, FBT, FBMI, IPSA and IEE.
The world around is the world of chemicals and their constants to transformations. The majority of processes on the earth are chemical or are followed by chemical processes. It is possible to tell that our Earth - is the huge chemical reactor which doesn't stop for a minute.
