There are several dozen museums in the capital. There are technical, art, historical, literary, and natural history museums. Every admirer of historical and cultural monuments can choose an institution to their liking. Please note that almost all of them periodically invite you to see their exhibitions free of charge during open days.
By order of the Kyiv City State Administration, thirteen municipal museums can be visited free of charge once a week by schoolchildren and students. In May of each year, some museums in Kyiv host the Night at the Museum event, which is supported by the Kyiv City State Administration and the Main Department of Culture and Arts of the KCSA.
