Yuri Maksimovich Kalnibolotskyy (09.14.33, Kyiv - 24.09.2011, Kyiv) - Candidate of Sciences (1963); Doctor of Sciences (1971); Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, PhD, Distinguished Professor of NTU "KPI".

Professor Yuri Maksimovich Kalnibolotskyy published more than 160 scientific and educational works, including 10 monographs and textbooks, trained 20 candidates of sciences, 1 PhD,  during 50 years of work under his leadership more than 160 future engineers have defended their diplomas. He has six patents, two of which are introduced into the production microcircuits. He received a patent for utility model number 46267, 10.12.2009 p. In 1971 he was awarded the medal " For excellence in work " and in 1972 he was awarded a badge of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR  " For excellent successes in work ", in 1982 he was awarded a sign ZLOTA ODZNAKA HONDROWA (Poland). In 1994 he was awarded the title "Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine". In 1999 he became Professor Emeritus of NTUU "KPI". Decision of the Board of USSR Ministry of Higher Education and Republican Committee of Trade Unions he was  awarded with " Udarnik devyatoy pyatyletky", " Udarnik desyatoy pyatyletky."

All his working and creative life Yuri Maksimovich Kalnibolotskyy devoted to the Kiev Polytechnic Institute.

Yuri Maksimovich Kalnibolotskyy was Dean of Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Head of Department dielectrics and semiconductors, the founder and head of the department of design and production of computer equipment.
