The “Dengi” magazine has published its sixth rate of Ukrainian universities according to five categories of specialists they prepare in economics, jurisprudence, humanitarian, technical and manufacturing professions. The first place in the rate of Ukrainian universities which train specialists of technical professions was again occupied by the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"!
Among the top five best Ukrainian universities that train professionals in these areas are Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", National Aviation University and National University "Lviv Polytechnic".
The estimation procedure of universities chosen by the magazine was quite simple: the editorial staff made five lists of educational institutions, then sent them to their leading employers of corresponding branches and asked to put marks from "0" to "10" next to each university. "0" mark meant that an employer would not take a graduate of this university under any circumstances, "10" mark meant that a person who graduated from this university would be employed for sure and perhaps even suggested the higher salary than that average young professionals get in the market. Depending on the amount of credits which this or that university gained, they got a place in the ranking lists. Moreover, the lists of universities were open and employers could individually fill in the missing names and rate them according to their sole discretion.
It should be noted that NTUU "KPI" was found in the top ten of country best universities in two areas of training: the economic with the fourth place and the manufacturing with the sixth.
