World Universities Web Ranking 2015 was posted. National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was recognized the first among the Ukrainian higher education institutions.
Rating was built on an algorithm that covers three impartial and independent web metrics of universities in several different search engines, and these data were selected in the same day in order to minimize the temporary deviations and maximize compatibility. The exact formula used to aggregate the three vebmetrik was not disclosed for reasons of protection of property rights and to minimize manipulation attempts by the university webmasters in order to get the best ratings.
The purpose of this rating (http://www.4icu.org) is to provide reasonable popularity ranking international universities and colleges, based on the popularity of their sites. It is expected that it will help the international students and the academic community to assess the degree of popularity of a university or college in a foreign country.
