Every autumn, a torch is lit on the Square of Knowledge, a man-made carrier of fire that symbolizes the birth of something new, new knowledge and achievements for freshmen. With a message: “A student is not a cup to be filled, but a torch to be lit”, they join the polytechnic family of thousands. However, this year the ceremony has been slightly changed for obvious reasons, but we will definitely return to the traditions.

After that, the student's everyday life begins - rich and interesting, full of daily hard work. At first, it seems that this fundamental education is very far from the present, but sooner or later it becomes a tool for developing professional skills and the ability to think. Over time, one realizes that what is theory today becomes practice tomorrow, the tools with which graduates will work in the professional sphere. But only motivated and conscientious students who strive for new and great things, act boldly and decisively, achieve results. And with it comes recognition. In particular, the best of the best students are awarded state scholarships.

An academic scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025 was awarded to a student of the FSP Victoria Stadnik.

I would like to note that students are not just part of the educational process at KPI. They are co-creators of what is happening. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it encourages young people to think, produce non-classical things, look for new formats, create and implement innovative products, including for the needs of the Armed Forces. After all, no one will come and do anything for us. Everyone has to take responsibility in their own way: to build the country, to protect it, to preserve it.
