Today, on December 3, the world celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities to remind society of the importance of equality, barrier-free access, tolerance and humanity.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is actively implementing initiatives that promote the integration of people with disabilities into all spheres of life. The university pays special attention to the rehabilitation of our defenders, creating conditions for their return to full civilian life.

It is symbolic that on this very day, representatives of Kyiv Polytechnic presented certificates to 12 coaches who completed the Adaptive Coach-Instructor Training Course for Military Personnel, War Veterans and Their Families.

Among the course graduates are two trainers from Kyiv Polytechnic who are now ready to help veterans recover.

The course was organized by the Training and Innovation Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation IPO of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on the initiative and with the support of the YANKO Charitable Foundation and the National Council for Sports Rehabilitation of Ukraine's Defenders, chaired by Vadym Svyrydenko, with which the university has been fruitfully cooperating for over a year.

Together we can do more!
