On August 31, a solemn jubilee session of the teaching staff of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was held in the meeting room of the Academic Council of the University to celebrate its 125th anniversary.

The celebrations began with the National Anthem of Ukraine performed by the choir of the KPI Center of Culture and Arts. Finally, the hosts Victoria Derkach and Yegor Shelest recited lines from the poetry of Vitaliy Ivashchenko, a Kyiv Polytechnic, teacher and scientist, poet and theater performer who unfortunately passed away this summer:

"We carry all the past in ourselves,
The soul of the people is created for centuries,
The world of Ukrainians is made up of dreamers and philosophers,
Poets, hard workers, singers.
And the anniversary session ended with the eternal anthem of students "Gaudeamus"...
