📍 The mixed mode of study has started at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The administration has comprehensively and thoroughly analyzed the situation, the university has prepared for partial full-time education and possible rocket attacks. Last week, the shelters were inspected, and generators and communication sources were prepared on campus. KPI will try, as far as possible, to maintain a mixed mode of education without switching to full distance learning, so that students receive the full range of knowledge and skills. At this time, the risk level allows the following steps.
📍 Repairs in the shelters of the 18th and 19th dormitories are completed.
📍 Electronic access to the ratings of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students has been opened.
📍 Mobility programs continue. The KPI administration encourages everyone to follow the updates at the faculties and departments.
📍 Acceptance of documents for doctoral studies has come to an end. This year we have received a record number of applications: seven doctoral students have submitted their documents.
📍 Conferences of labor collectives agreed to elect new deans.
📍 The University is preparing for the Open Day: May 5 - for masters; at the end of the month - general.
📍 This week, students are undergoing training at the training ground: they train daily for 12 hours. After graduation, students will receive a diploma.
KPI is establishing cooperation with associations of psychologists and psychotherapists to support students under stress due to the war, prolonged distance learning and insufficient socialization.
📍 KPI was recognized as the best university by the number of scientific competitions and grants won. The university also received an award for the popularization of science.
The British program to support student startup projects for the reconstruction of the country will start soon. It includes a visit of KPI startups to meet with the investment committee.
📍 The competition for the best KPI publication is over: 12 works were submitted, including monographs, textbooks, and manuals.
