The annual collective bargaining campaign has started at the university. It is held in order to improve the management system of the university, the regulation of industrial, labour and socio-economic relations to expand the rights and opportunities of employees and students. The first meeting of the working commission of the university to verify the implementation of the Collective Agreement for the period from April 2020 to April 2021 and the conclusion of the Collective Agreement for the next period took place on January 26, 2021 remotely.
The Commission considered and discussed the following issues: election of the governing bodies of the working commission, approval of the procedure (regulations) of the working commission meetings, approval of the structure of the draft of Collective Agreement for the next period, approval of the schedule of preparation of sections of the draft of Collective Agreement.
The participants of the meeting also outlined the procedure for conducting a campaign in the context of anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus COVID-19. The stages of organization and inspection of the implementation of the Collective Agreement in the divisions are considered in detail. this year they are significantly different from the traditional events held in recent years. They were approved by the order of the University "On the organization and conduct of collective bargaining and the conclusion of the Collective Agreement of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2021”. Working commissions established in accordance with this order at the faculties / institutes and in separate divisions of the university must follow the following procedure:
- prepare and publish on official Internet resources reports of the head of the faculty / educational-scientific institute / subdivision and heads of unions of employees and students on the implementation of the Collective Agreement of the faculty / educational-scientific institute / subdivision for the previous period;
- the decision of the working commission to verify the implementation of last year's Collective Agreement of the faculty / educational-scientific institute / department to amend the current Collective Agreement of the faculty / educational-scientific institute / department, Labour Protection Agreement and evaluate the work of the head for the reporting period;
- minutes of meetings of the working commission of the faculty / educational-scientific institute / subdivision to be submitted to the trade union committee before March 26, 2021.
