Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is getting ready for the Sikorsky Challenge Festival of Innovation Projects in Chongqing, China. Chinese partners expressed their interest in hosting the event while signing the agreement on financing the Institute of Applied Technologies “Kyivska Politehnika”. It is a joint venture of a private and unique format, founded for the first time in the history of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The parties agreed on joint science research in materials science, welding, aerospace and biomedical technologies, IT, and artificial intelligence.
They also want to establish an R&D center for the Chinese market at our University. Researchers and students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will start to work at the new venture already in 2022.
