Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held an online meeting with the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ukraine for Political Affairs Abdurahmon Mahmudov.
The main topic of discussion was an educational and scientific project of cooperation between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Fund for Financing Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The project precondition became the protocol of intent to cooperate in education, science, and information exchange signed with the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan during the X Sikorsky Challenge Festival.
During the meeting, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute invited citizens of Uzbekistan to train in the following priority areas: aerospace technology, materials science and welding, power energy, information technology, and instrumentation engineering.
The parties plan to form an Authority Coordination Working Group to organize the activities of the educational and scientific project.
