The beginning of the autumn term at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will be executed through distance learning

To avoid the spread of Covid-19, all students will take part in distance learning till 21st of September. It is approved by the order of 21.08.2020.

What does it mean?

1. Learning process. Until September 21 distance learning will provide all types of classes for full-time and part-time students   (how it will take place later will depend on the epidemiological situation).

Deans of faculties and directors of institutes are responsible for the organization of distance learning.

2. The beginning of academic year and settling in dormitories. The procedure for processing documents, booking dormitories and the start of academic year must be approved by September 5. Classes for bachelors and masters of the first year of study will begin on September 21.

First Vice-Rector Yuriy Yakymenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Anatoliy Melnychenko, Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalia Seminska and Director of the campus Oleksandr Ishchenko are responsible for this.

3. Library. Scientific and Technical Library named after G.I. Denysenko   will provide services for the return and issuance of books (by prior arrangement) and the signing of bypass letters. Everything else, including access to databases of information resources - in remote mode.

According to the order, its terms can be reviewed and changed once a month at least 10 days before the entry into force of these changes.
