A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of newly-created Ministry, Oleg Uruskyi visited the Kyiv Polytechnic. The official and the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute administration discussed the prospects for future cooperation.
Oleg Uruskyi noted that the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Situation Centre can significantly speed up the process of formation of the ministry and become its active assistant on a regular basis.
«I hope we will get to the point where the government will actively use the Situation Centre. This platform makes it possible to attract completely different experts for specific tasks. We need to find a way to establish real practical cooperation, "said Mr. Uruskyi.
The Minister also noted that the innovative ecosystem of the Sikorsky challenge can create a much-needed for the country symbiosis of the defence complex and the scientific community. And he promised to lobby the realization of the deep potential of Ukrainian scientists in the Ministry of Defence.
“The Sikorsky challenge platform is the platform we would like to use. In such a team of people obsessed with improving our defence capabilities, we can do much more and convey that the defence industry has not only an attractive export potential, "said Uruskyi.
