Faculty of Applied Mathematics with its graduate Doctor habil. Hu Je Bin traditionally initiate an international exchange of scientific achievements. The two-day event, which has begun in Kyiv on January 21, was organized by the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Wuhan University of Central China and the International Association for Contemporary Education and Computer Science (Hong Kong). The ICCSEEA English conference is being held for the third time and quite successfully: 68 of the 118 reports were approved after the review (23 of which were from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute).
Within the framework of event the scientists discuss the latest achievements in computer science, software engineering and educational technology.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute delegated its scientists from 4 faculties: Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science, Faculty of Applied System Analysis and Faculty of Electronics. In total, more than 15 Ukrainian universities (Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv) participate. Among the participants, besides Ukrainians and Chinese, there are representatives of Italy and South Korea.
"We are holding the conference to share cutting-edge scientific technology. It is also important for us to publish the materials in the German Springer edition. After that, the works automatically fall into the bibliographic databases of Scopus and Web of Science. Being published so that we are seen in the world is our main goal. Among the essential issues are data transmission, security, models of programmatic orientation of complex systems. We are pleased with such a development - the year has just begun, and we already have a positive result, "- says the Dean of FAM Ivan Dychka.
The event is sponsored by Dr. Hu Zheng Binh, a graduate of FPM who currently works at Wuhan University and heads the International Research Association for Contemporary Education and Computer Science in Hong Kong. The former polytechnician seeks to help his alma-mater reach international level, in particular in collaboration with Chinese scientists.
"We have a publishing house in Hong Kong - 10 magazines where scientists are published in English. We have a good result - many teachers of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute are members of editorial boards, reviewers. We are trying to make a joint grant project for the exchange of scientists, and we are gradually moving towards that goal", said Hu Zheng Binh.
