Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Michael Zgurovskyi issued an order “On Enhancing Monitoring of Compliance with Existing Fire Safety Standards in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”
This document provides fire safety inspections on the territory of the university and campus, in educational buildings and dormitories, in all residential, educational, laboratory, industrial, warehouse and auxiliary premises. In addition, additional (unscheduled) fire briefings should be conducted with all employees of the university, as well as with those responsible for the operation of heating systems and electric heating equipment. The order also provides the inspection of the technical condition of the fire alarm system, the internal and external condition of the fire water supply system, other water supply sources and primary fire fighting equipment, etc. and a number of other fire safety measures.
