Dear Levita Markivna! On behalf of teacher’s team, researchers, students and employees of the National  Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and from myself we want to personally congratulate you with the 100th anniversary!

There were many difficult ordeals in your journey, that impacted on your personality and  fate.

You will always remember the time as a young girl who came to Kyiv Industrial Institute (now – Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute), where you met the love of your life and after the successful completion of the institute in 1941, received a ticket as a highly-qualified professional.

You have been through tough years, when the world experienced events, that have changed purpose of many people and peoples – where You and Ukraine were at the centre of these events.

You started your career at the Gorky Automobile Plant, getting closer to victory with your self-sacrificing work.

During the dark post-war years, you were engaged in fruitful research activities in the USSR Academy of Sciences.

It’s been years… Even now you still maintain the relationship with your Alma-Mater, despite the fact that you are on a different continent, in the United States of America. However, while staying in the USA, you’ve always remembered Ukraine, your “home” Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and wished them prosperity!

On the day of your remarkable anniversary, you accepted from alma-mater the wishes of good health, prosperity to You and your relatives, joyfulness, happiness and long life!

Yours very truly,

M.Z. Zgurovsky, Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, academician of the NAS of Ukraine
