V International conference “Energetic management: status and prospects of development – PEMS’18”

On April 18, 2018, the two-day V International Scientific, Technical and Educational-Methodical Conference “Energy Management: Status and Prospects of Development - PEMS'18” began work at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The conference is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation of Ukraine, the Scientific and Technical Union of Power Engineers and Electrical Engineers of Ukraine.

Participation in the opening of the conference was taken by its co-chairmen - Director of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Sergiy Denisyuk, senior lecturer of IEE candidate of technical sciences Yurii Veremiychuk and numerous scientists from many universities of Ukraine.

The purpose of the conference is a comprehensive analysis of modern aspects of energy efficiency, energy management and energy conservation, demonstration of scientific achievements and search of new solutions on energy efficiency and energy saving issues in various fields, as well as their practical application at the present stage of development of energy systems of Ukraine and in modern conditions of development of higher education in energy management.

V International scientific-technical and teaching-methodical conference “Energy management: the state and prospects of development - PEMS'18” is devoted to the scientific, technical, economic and educational-methodical problems of building efficient energy management systems that enable to increase the energy efficiency of the functioning of the energy sector of Ukraine, implement energy efficiency policy at enterprises, organizations and institutions.

The conference will work in the following scientific and technical areas: legislative and regulatory issues of energy conservation and energy efficiency; methodological bases of monitoring and management of fuel and energy efficiency; modern energy management systems; Smart grid intelligent energy systems and energy management; integrated energy management systems; energy management in the management system of the enterprise and branches of the economy; planning of enterprise resources in accordance with the management of energy efficiency; security of energy and industrial enterprises; environmental issues of energy and integrated approach to the use of energy resources; applied organizational, technical and economic questions (best practices) of energy management systems) and teaching and methodological (methodology of forming the contents of the educational process in the field of energy efficient technologies and energy management; modern methodical, scientific and educational laboratory equipment to provide fundamental, professional and practical training energy managers).
