Presentation of bolids “Formula – Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s student”

Four years ago the team “Formula Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s student” was created, whose members are headed by the head of the Department of Integrated Technologies of Mechanical Engineering, MMI, doctor of technical sciences, prof. Vitaliy Pasichnyk. It is producing racing cars and taking part in international competitions Formula SAE. This year, the team “Formula Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s student” built a fourth car and visited competitions in the Netherlands city of Assen with her (see “KP” dated October 11, 2018).

On October 18, 2018, the team completed the season by hosting a presentation of its cars – this year one and the first one, manufactured in 2015, on the site near the entrance to the Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Vitaliy Pasichnyk presented to the spectators of the team members and sponsors, briefly described the essence of the Formula SAE project, the main stages of the project, pointing out that the car manufactured in 2018 is better than the car developed in 2015 At the end of the story, he emphasized that the main goal of the project is the preparation of real engineers who can design, manufacture and organize production.

Then came the captain of the team Vasyl Kutuz and the team member Vyacheslav Rybka, who told about their impressions of work on the car and travel to international competitions.

After all interested people could be photographed near the cars, the spectators switched to Polytechnic Street, where cars moved. There, Stanislav Putin and Myhailo Kovalyov demonstrated the ride in a straight line, “eight”, “snake”. After the demonstration around, the cars gathered those who wanted to know more about them. Team members responded to various questions willingly for about an hour.

The partially updated composition of the “Formula Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Student” team will begin a new season, and so far anyone can try to join the project. (see.:
