April 23 was the opening of the second phase art space "Tower KPI": to the upper rooms were added to the basement. In his welcoming speech the rector of NTUU "KPI" Michael Zgurovsky noted that this area will continue to prosper student creativity.
The project to convert the abandoned tower art space with 2013 dedicated group. Its current leader – postgraduate student of the Department of philosophy Dmitry Stolyarenko says: "During the creation of an art space, we proceed from the concept of comprehensive development of students. Among University students, there are many creative individuals who will have the opportunity to exhibit here their works (photos, paintings). And young researchers can find here a place to realize their startups (e.g., programmers). Also in the premises of the art space it is possible to conduct master classes, lectures, meetings with famous people".
Last year at the Towers KPI" regularly held exhibitions of photography, painting, etc. The University Administration helps the enthusiast organizational and material – repair of premises, furniture, light, sound, etc. Ahead of repair work in the courtyard, where there was a Parking lot, and now equipped place to stay students.
