The regular meeting of the trade union committee of employees of the university was held September 25, 2014.
Було розглянуто такі питання:
1. On the implementation of the trade union committee solutions on the collection of the charitable aid in connection with the events on the est of the country (the speaker - O.I. Sheiko).
2. On the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine initiative "On the improvement of legal norms with an aim to ensure the financial and economic situation in Ukraine (the speaker - V.I. Molchanov)
3. On the preparation of report-back-election conference of the trade union of NTUU"KPI" employees (the speaker V.O.Korsakov).
On the first item of meeting agenda the deputy chairman O.I.Sheiko informed the audience about the current situation with the fundraising by trade union activists and faculties' curators of the Volunteer Battalion of NTUU"KPI". As of September 25, it was collected about 110 thousands hryvnia. On the base of subunits' decisions a part of the collected money was spent on the events, the list of which one can find at Volunteer Battalion site (http://volunteers.kpi.ua). The money are also accumulated at the trade union account for the aid as to the employees, who are called to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as to their families (as of September 25 it was collected 42 thousands gryvnia). The reports were made by Batallion curator Olena Mikolaivna Beliaeva, the representatives of Ukrainian Assosiation "Patriot", with which the Volunteer Battalion NTUU"KPI" is cooperating, Anna Anatolievna Maiboroda and Olesia Favorska.
The trade union chairman V.I.Molchanov informed the audience about the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine initiative. There are several drafts of the Law " On the improvement of legal norms with the aim to ensure the financial and economic situation in Ukraine". So there are many questions as to certain items of governmental initiatives, as well as to the drafts as a whole. Because even a single document is not submitted to the parlament, then it was impossible to characterize the core of them. Anyway there is an impression shared by all representatives of trade union movement, that this is a list of government activities to pick the pockets of the working man. Consolidated position trade union Committee of iniversity employees, taken at the meeting, is to develop a set of activities to prevent the adoption of governmental and parliamentary decisions that disturb the existing order in the emerging burden of teachers and academic staff, the level of wages of all categories of workers, the procedure for establishing them allowances etc . The meeting participants expressed their willingness to actively join the protest actions in the case of pushing such anti-social decisions on the part of government institutions.
As on the third item of the agenda, it was discussed and resolved the quotas and rules of representation of delegates from the divisions at report-election trade union conference, to be held in December 2014.
