In April, we, the representatives of the Department of International Economics FMM Irina Denisova - student of 5th year and Catherine Red'ko - engineer had the golden opportunity to go on training to the best university in Kazakhstan - Eurasian National University. L.M.Humilova. Faculty of Economics for two and a half weeks we have perfected their expertise Irina - the master degree, Catherine - in doctoral studies.
The University is located in Astana, the capital of which is from 1997 It created the most favorable conditions for learning: there is free wi-fi, access to a large library, comfortable audience, network for university students, which is analogous to Kazakh Facebook, etc. . Students can listen to lectures not only leading Kazakh teachers, but also a foreign one (for example, we lectured teacher from Czech Tsyvin Lubomir). In addition, the university sends for training their students to leading universities in Europe and has an ambitious strategy for the development and improvement of education.
I liked the attitude to our faculty and administration: everyone was friendly, helped, offering tours and invited guests. The celebration of Nauryz, held April 17 in the University, and we found our embroidered full attention: with the rector and the deans of the faculties we planted a tree in the alley friendship. And gave an interview to Ukrainian diaspora "Ukrainian's news", which talked about KPI and the current situation in Ukraine. Ukraine Diaspora in Kazakhstan - it's incredibly friendly people who worry about the fate of Ukraine and make every effort to preserve Ukrainian culture and traditions. We also got to interview devoted Ukrainian diaspora in Kazakh channel KZ 24. Participated in the III International Shevchenko readings dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the poet, "Shevchenko and a symbol of spiritual connection Ukrainian and Kazakh people" on attended by representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of NAS of Ukraine M.H.Zhulynskyy - Director of the Institute of Literature. Taras Shevchenko National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, H.M.Shalahmetov - Head of UNESCO's inter-ethnic and inter-confessional tolerance and others.
Do not like our dormitories. They are being closed at 23:00, at the same time of the guests have to leave the room. Attend one another after 23:00 is prohibited. Study rooms are also close at 23:00. In a small room contained the two-storey 4 bed for 8 students. To educate almost no place, not to mention his own space. Everywhere there are surveillance cameras. Each floor has administrator, that visit students every hour.
Couples last for 50 minutes. University invites on probation for a large number of students from different countries, but not necessarily as a number of assists. For example, both of us trained students 4th year of university, Donetsk.
Our trip coincided in time with the difficult political situation in Ukraine. So everywhere we tried to convey accurate information about the events in our country. But ordinary Kazakhs supported us, "How good that Ukraine live patriots who can adequately defend their country."
Impressions from the trained remained extremely positive. During the trip, we have gained unique experience, immersed in an international environment and a different education system, established a new professional and personal contacts, admiring the beautiful Astana, with its modern architecture.
We thank Dean FMM, Head of International Economics professor. O.A.Havryshu, CIE Director prof. B.A.Tsyhanku, Counselor, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, cooperation with the Ukrainian Diaspora in Kazakhstan P.V.Tokaryu and everyone who contributed to our trip.
