Security department

Security Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was created according to the order of the rector № 7-13 from 21.02.2017 "On establishment of the security Department", which was issued on the basis of the decision of the Academic Council from 13.02.2017 year (Protocol №2 from 13.02.2017 years).

The purpose of the security Department is to increase the level of law and order in the academic buildings, the campus dorms and on campus, the safety of material assets from illegal encroachments, implementation of security measures by introducing modern technical means of security and control.

The tasks of the security Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute

The main objective of the security Department is to ensure the functioning security system, ensure an appropriate level of public order and security of applicants for higher education, employees of the University.

In addition to the tasks of the security Department assigned to particular:

1. Ensuring proper law and order in the academic buildings, the campus dorms and on campus;
2. The preservation of material assets of the University from criminal attacks;
3. Ensuring the passage regime in educational buildings in order to prevent violations in them;
4. The implementation of security measures through the introduction of modern technical means of security and control;
5. Prevention of offenses and crimes in academic buildings, the campus dorms and on campus;
6. Ensuring interaction with public formations on protection of a public order, organs of internal Affairs;
7. Hour control objects of protection;
8. Carrying out preventive work among the seekers of higher education and employees of the University, aimed at preventing illegal acts;
9. Implementation of other activities under the legislation of Ukraine aimed at ensuring the rule of law, protection of property and personal security of applicants to higher education and University employees, protect them from any unlawful and illegal attacks.
