The Center for International Projects “Euroeducation”, in partnership with the international group of experts IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, presented the next, eighteenth academic ranking of Ukrainian universities “Top 200 Ukraine 2024”.
This year's ranking took into account current trends in the development of higher education, which is in a state of profound change in the course of ongoing reforms and suffers great losses as a result of Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
The comprehensiveness and multifaceted nature of the universities' activities were taken into account. To this end, to determine the results of the universities' work, their activities were evaluated collectively using large amounts of data (generalized for several years) on a wide base of important indicators (6 international and 4 national).
As in the previous year, KPI became the first in this ranking. The top five included Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (second place), Lviv Polytechnic National University, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Sumy State University took third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
