On January 18-19, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute passed another international accreditation. It was carried out by the international French agency CTI (Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur) with the support of the Independent Center for Accreditation of Engineering Programs CIAEP (Center for Independent Accreditation of Engineering Programs) for two educational and professional master's programs. These are Acoustic Electronic Systems and Acoustic Information Processing Technologies and Electronic Multimedia Systems and Internet of Things (specialty 171 Electronics, Department of Acoustic and Multimedia Electronic Systems, FEL).
Six experts were involved in the examination: from France (CTI), Romania (The Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance In Higher Education, ARACIS) and Ukraine (National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, NAQA). The expert group is currently preparing a report on the results of the accreditation examination.
The accreditation was carried out in accordance with the standards and criteria of the European Higher Education Quality System. In case of a positive decision of the CTI Council, these programs will receive international recognition of engineering training - the award of the EUR-ACE® Label.
