Students of the groups GN-31mn and ON-21mn of the Institute of IEE, who are studying under the educational and scientific program "Energy Management, Power Supply and Engineering of Electrical Engineering Complexes" of the Department of Electricity Supply, together with their curators, Professor Serhii Denysiuk and Professor Mykola Grebchenko, visited the Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the ANIGER company. It is worth adding that Sergiy Denysiuk is the guarantor of this educational and scientific program and actively promotes the organization of excursions and open lectures for students, because it is the comprehensive development of students, improvement of their knowledge, familiarity with modern solutions in the energy sector, modern devices that is the key to success.
ANIGER develops, manufactures, and implements tools and systems for monitoring and controlling electric power facilities. The systems and individual devices developed by its specialists have been implemented at 750 kV, 330 kV, 110 kV substations, nuclear, thermal and hydroelectric power plants, combined heat and power plants, railway traction substations and substations of energy-intensive enterprises.
The tour was conducted by Oleksandr Spodynskyi, a leading engineer at Department 4 of the Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, who is a 2011 graduate of the Power Supply Department. He gave a presentation on "Digital Substation", from which the students were able to learn about software and monitoring systems for various substations. The presentation sparked a lively discussion, during which the participants also discussed the current state of the energy sector in Ukraine and the issues of its restoration and protection.
The participants of the excursion also got acquainted with the equipment for automation of monitoring systems "Regina" manufactured by ANIGER. It should be noted that the Department of Electricity Supply also has this equipment, so students under the guidance of Professor Mykola Grebchenko can conduct research on it as part of their research papers.
During this visit to the company, an open lecture on "SATEC LTD measurement tools and solutions for automation, event recording and analytics, quality control and monitoring of electricity parameters" was held by HITEK ENERGY. It was held by the company's representatives Oleksandr Zolotarenko and Anton Rozhnev. It should be noted that HITECH ENERGY is the exclusive representative of the manufacturer of equipment and software systems SATEC LTD (Israel) and provides product supply, full technical support, as well as warranty and post-warranty service. SATEC LTD is a recognized world leader in the production of devices and systems for quality control and electricity metering. Their products are successfully used in more than 40 countries due to the high quality, manufacturability of equipment and systems, as well as well-organized technical support for users.
The next step of cooperation with Hightech Energy is a direct visit to the Department of Electricity Supply by leading representatives of the company and a visual demonstration of the SATEC PM-180 device (it is already at the Department of Electricity Supply) and other devices and software to students.
