At the end of December 2021, the world's largest international higher education network QS Quacquarelli Symonds traditionally released a ranking for 2022 of the best universities in Europe, Central Asia, and developing countries (QS EECA). In total, this ranking features 450 of the top universities. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute entered this top hundred. Moreover, our University increased its lead by three points - from 66th to 63rd place. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has improved its 3 indicators out of 10, according to which the EECA rankings are compiled. The following indicators include academic reputation, employer reputation, international research network, and web impact. It is noteworthy that among the 10 indicators of this rating, Academic Reputation (30%) and Employer Reputation (20%) are the best for our University.
It is important to highlight that only 4 Ukrainian universities improved their positions compared to 2021. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is one of them.
Besides, the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, another 40 Ukrainian universities entered the ranking. According to the Director of the QS Analytical Department, Ben Sauter, 40 Ukrainian universities have made an absolute record in the history of the QS EECA University Rankings of the region (there were only 25 universities last year).
However, Top QS EECA University Rankings 2022 include not four universities from Ukraine, as last year, but only three - due to a particular decline in reputation and scientometric indicators of most Ukrainian universities.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took second place among the best universities in Ukraine.

- National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (183);
- Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (191).
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute received the highest rating among Ukrainian technical universities and gave way only to the classical Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
