The congratulatory speech to the participants of the meeting was addressed by the vice-rector on the scientific work of the KPI, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Myhailo Ilchenko. The National Coordinator in Ukraine of the Horizon 2020 Program, Deputy Head of the Department for International Cooperation and European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Stella Shapoval devoted her speech to the questions of participation of Ukrainian researchers in the program. Valentyn Andrushchenko, the coordinator of the European Research Council, informed about the grants of the European Research Council and opportunities for Ukrainian scientists. The head of the NCP, Nadiya Tkachuk, highlighted the issue of topical contests on “Europe in a changing world, innovative, inclusive and smart societies” and “Secure societies: protecting the freedom and security of Europe and its citizens”. The theme of the expert's statement on the “Information and Communication Technologies” direction of Olga Sulema was “Horizon 2020: Work Program 2018-2020 in the direction of" Information and Communication Technologies”.
At the end of the Information day, the head of the NCP, the coordinator of the NCP in the direction of “Information and Communication Technologies” Sergiy Shukaiev, addressed the current programs of this year within the framework of the “Horizon 2020” Program.
